So Fox News called the UN to see their projected energy savings from participating in Earth Hour, and the original number given was $81,000. Not bad, right?
Oops, the number had to be updated to $24,000 a short time later.
Oops again. The actual energy cost savings was $102.
This is exactly why I think the concept of Earth Hour is dumb.
